I was asked by my parents if I wanted to learn to play an instrument and if so which one. I thought long and hard. My answer was the guitar. They asked why. Well I replied, you could play go with acoustic guitar playing lying on your back in bed. You can't do that with a piano or a set of drums. Oh, and girls like guitar players and I could use all the help I could get. That was long ago and I still play my guitar almost every day, usually sitting up and my wife loves to listen and sing along to the oldies I play. The only problem has always been the party invitations saying there will be live music. I call and ask” Who’s playing at the party?” I'm told it will be me.
