My aunt is considering Bankruptcy services and looking at options to avoid bankruptcy debt altogether.

She had a nasty divorce and was left with a lot of credit card debt but the smaller of the two incomes and she can't make the payments or ever hope to pay the cards off.

Rather than file for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, she is looking at the credit management services in order to from wiping out her credit score with a bankruptcy that will stay on her file for the next ten years.

But, aren't the credit repair services scams? Or, are there some legitimate companies out there?
