Most women go through menopause when they are in their late 40's or 50's. Actually menopause can affect a woman at any time of her life. Early menopause symptoms usually show up in women who are younger than 40.

Many women who go through early menopause do so without many problems. However most women who go through early menopause may experience some or all of the following symptoms. Inconsistent periods, inability to get pregnant, A loss or gain in weight, hot flashes or night sweats, muscle pain, depression and problems getting to or staying asleep.

There are many other symptoms you may experience but these are just a few. Be sure to check with your doctor. He can usually prescribe you medication to help with the discomfort.
