As a Citizen, What Can I do to End the Federal Tax Lien System?

If you want to see federal tax lien abolished, you will more than likely have to elect politicians that are ready, willing, and able to do away with the IRS.  You, and other citizens in this country will also have to be willing to accept some other form of taxation. As an example, the way gas prices are going these days, the Federal government could probably make a lot more money on a fuel tax than all the time and effort wasted with income tax.
