Of all the different types of gastric bypass surgeries that you can have, mini gastric bypass surgery is by far the least invasive. This surgery can be done over a lunch hour in most cases although you will have to stay in the hospital for a day afterwards. The good part about this type of gastric bypass surgery is that it is not only reversible, you can even have it altered in one way or another in order to increase or decrease the size of your stomach. It is not without problems, however, and such things as infection can set in and cause some difficulties. All in all, this type of procedure is beneficial compared to the larger gastric bypass surgeries available.
