I was Christmas shopping today. I had my young daughter in tow. I had arranged for a babysitter, but she cancelled on me at the last minute. I had to go shopping today, as many items on my list were on sale. To wait until I had a babysitter would mean spending hundreds more than I would have spent today. There was no way I was waiting to do my shopping. I took my daughter with me. While browsing the collectable kitchen plates, my daughter reached out and knocked over a display. Plates came crashing to the floor. I thought to myself… there goes my savings. But, the store owner stated that they had insurance to cover accidents such as these. I didn't ahve to pay fro the broken plates, but I was still very embarassed.
