Born on the fourteenth of October, 1939, in the Bronx of New York as Ralph Lifshitz, Ralph Lauren studied at the City College of New York. Even though he had a poor past, this fashion designer managed to make place for himself under the sun of the world of fashion.
As a matter of fact, he has managed to make designs that are known to be timeless and are looked forward to season after season, at every major fashion show. He has been able to construct, deconstruct and yet again reconstruct his own designs to make a whole new innovative dress every time.
